About Me

Hello my name is Bronwyn Mascord. I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and infant feeding specialist. My 30 +years nursing career has largely been working with families on their journey of parenthood. I started my career as a general nurse and soon after qualified as a midwife and realised that was where I belonged. For many years I worked in all aspects of midwifery i.e. delivery ward, antenatal and postnatal wards and intensive care nurseries. Along the way I gained some personal experience of motherhood myself. A move to Sydney saw me branch out into paediatric nursing at the old Children’s Hospital and then to my Tresillian training. From there I worked in the Early Childhood Centres in the inner west. This position led me to become the Community Liaison Consultant, the bridge between the hospital and community services for the Central Sydney Area. My love of face to face clinical nursing led me back to the hospital system as a Lactation Consultant for the postnatal wards at King George V hospital and later the Parenting and Lactation Consultant for the intensive care nurseries. For the last few years I have been working as a home visiting midwife and parent educator at a major Sydney hospital. My frustration has continued to grow over the last few years as I see parents struggling with new parenthood with little family support and limited access to high quality support services. Hence “Complete Infant Care Solutions” was created and birthed.
Looking forward to helping you.
